displaying cd covers?

Hi i just got a ipod and transfered a bunch of music.

For one or 2 albums it seems to display the right cd cover, but for most nothing is shown.

In each dir theres a cover.jpg file that was transfered to my mac then imprted into itunes, which ofcoruse transfered it to my ipod.

Anyone know where i might of went wrong?

You need to check that you've got the album cover artwork set for each song in iTunes. To do this, first turn on iTunes Album Art viewer in the lower-left corner by clicking the button with the up-wards arrow on it. Ensure it says "Selected Song" and not "Currently Playing" - you can toggle this setting by clicking on the words.

Next, sort your iTunes library by Album, by clicking on the "Album" heading.

Now, find the cover artwork for an album. Select ALL of the songs on that album (you can use Shift while clicking to select a range of songs in the list) and once you're sure you've got all the songs on that album highlighted, drag the artwork for the album into the artwork viewer. iTunes will then set that artwork for all those songs.

You'll need to repeat this process for each album. Don't worry, its not as bad as it seems, you'll soon be able to do each album in five seconds flat and should have them all done before you know it.
