hello people.
im running OSX 10.4.2 and have a USB printer hooked up to my ibook g4. anyways after the software update downloaded the osx update and itunes update, no .dmg files would work. every time i try to update or even download a new program, i get the following message:
the following disk images failed to mount:
blahblahblah.dmg
reason:
device not configured
it happens to everything. anyways i tried the disk utility and it found/repaired something to do with a volume. still doesnt work. i backed up all of my stuff onto some discs and was about to reinstall OSX but i figured somebody here might be able to help me before i make such a serious move. im new to macs so please bear with me.
