So I'm one of those people who don't like the dock. The introduction of Launch Pad completely makes the dock redundant and useless. I've tried moving it to the top of my screen with the terminal code "defaults write com.apple.Dock orientation -string top" (I wrote this from memory so it may not be the write code) and that didn't work. I also downloaded TinkerTool and am unable to find a way to move it to the top of my screen from there. Please help.
