I'm thinking about burning an iMovie as a VCD, but I'm not sure if my DVD player will play it. It's a Sony DVP-S360 and in the manual it says that it will play VIDEO CDs .. are these the same as VCDs?
Scott, did you get lost? were you too busy watching the game to notice what forum you were in? we don't take kindly to technical questions down here at the bottom of the page!!
You are lucky that kind Canadien helped you out!
what i am really amazed at is that you got an answer down here while many questions go unanswered somewhere else.
maybe this will replace hot topics as the place to go if you want a fast response!!
hehe, yeah thanks. I wasn't sure where to ask since it's not really a Mac question. Anyhoo, OSX is working out sweet! I kind of regret not installing classic 9 as well .. but oh well. It's all good
hmm -- seems like I have a project for next weekend
to my recollection when I burned a VCD a while back I did it on an RW cause I did not want to waste a CD-R (I know I am cheap at time ) -- it worked fine on my mac's VCD player. I think I will make a CD-R VCD and see how it works on a DVD player (hey no sense in being in charge of a couple of auditorii and not "testing" out an AV system )
yea, you guys get out of here!! all this tech talk is uncalled for. take it outside, would you
so scott, just exactly how confusing is life these days? do you realize you put down "United States" for your occupation on the greek petition? That is an awful lot of responsibility. of course i am greatly relieved to know that it is you running the country and not Bush. i will sleep better and spend more money again. I will stop living in fear that the evil ones are hiding under my bed
btw - who do you think is going to the superbowl? I would love to see it be the Pats and the Eagles. Because of that I am expecting it to be the Steelers and the Rams.
I figure all the activity down here lately is a good sign that there aren't too many serious problems going on right now which is a good thing. I know i feel good that i haven't had to fight with my computer for awhile and there have been no storms, so i'm back to staying up 24/7, which also has the advantage of keeping my room warm with the heat of the imac.
