I have a MacBook using Tiger and Firefox. I haven't been able to download the most recent batch of Apple software updates. Quicktime has been especially difficult (55MB file). After about 2-3 MB it quits with a message that it "timed out". I've tried downloading from software updates as well as Apple directly.
