Dreamweaver MX trouble

I seem to be having some sort of problem getting the drag-to-file function to work in Dreamweaver MX. SEE SCREENSHOT IMAGE (216k)

I drag the arrow to a file but no link is made. Am I doing something wrong?

Why don't you just use the folder icon to search for it? I've never used the drag file thing so i have no idea how that works.

the folder icon way takes too long, I really need to streamline. If I can figure out how to get this function to it would greatly improve my production. It's the difference between drag-n-drop and choose/scoll through folder/chose file/ and repeat.

I know you can drag and drop a file anywhere in the Design window. However i can't get that point-to-file thing to work right either.

You need to drag to a file in the Dreamweaver MX Site Map for your site. It won't work to drag to files in the finder....
