Drive Errors Burning Data Dvd

My pioneer dvd-rw dvr-107d reprts a drive error: sense key = medium error sense code 0x 73, 0x 03 as well as sense key = illegal request sense code = 0x 21, 0x02 buffer underrun when trying to burn data dvd with toast titanium 6 using "imitation' dvd-r dvds
 
Buffer underrun means that the burning process is too slow (due to a bad media most of the times) for the SD.
In Toast, burner settings (alt-R), Advanced tab, is the "Buffer underrun protection" enabled (must be the default) ?
If no, enable it and test again
if yes, change media brand
