Dual 2GHz ship time confusion

I have an open order with Apple for a Dual 2GHz G5. On my order status, it says estimated ship time is 7-10 weeks.

Yesterday, Apple posted a news article:

The dual 2.0 GHz Power Mac G5 will ship late this month, as planned.

At first I thought this meant that I would be getting my G5 by Sept....but the estimated ship time on my order still says 7-10 weeks.

Then I realized...Apple could start shipping the first orders of the G5 by September, but my order won't get shipped till November

Estimated ship dates are fairly unreliable when a company has this many units to ship out. My advice is just to wait it out, because chances are your actual ship time will be later then when apple says that they will start shipping 2.0 Duals, but earlier then the estimated ship date.
