I have a DP867 with a GeoMX Video Card (DVI out and ADC out)>

I have connected a CRT Monitor to the DVi plug on the computer via a DVI to VGA adaptor. I need to run a second monitor but all I have left is a ADC connection.

Is there an ADC to VGA connector? I cannot afford an Apple LCD display.

Also when ever I raise the screen res to 1152 x 870 or above all my monitors will warp on the left hand side. Could it be the DVI to VGA adapter?

yes, there are ADC to VGA adaptors. www.gefen.com sells them, they are around $50.

When you change your res above 1152x870, what refresh rate are you at? It sounds to me like you're sending a refresh rate that is too high to your monitor. Are you 100% sure that the resolution and refresh rate you're sending is supported by the monitor?

I sure because it's only at 75hz and I'm using "only" recommended settings nominated by Syncmaster in System preferences.

I'd trust what the computer says as a valid resolution about as far as I could throw it (an my g4 tower is pretty damn heavy!). 1280x1024 @ 75Mhz is a pretty high resolution, and most consumer grade monitors won't support 1280x1024 that high. I'd check the spec's of your specific monitor. As to the DVI/VGA adaptor, that shouldnt' be a problem, I have a DVI/VGA (the one that came in the box) adaptor on my retail Radeon 8500 running at 1280x1024 at 75Mhz (monitor will do 1600x1200 @ 75Mhz).

To fix my problem of lack of desktop (cause my moniter seems to have poor specs) I will run dual moniters to compensate.

I have the stock as a rock GeoF 4 MX on my G4/DP867. Can that run 2 monitors independantly or will they just mirror each other?

If it does I will just by a cheap second moniter to hold my palettes from Photoshop and e-mails etc. Design will be done on the other.
