Dungeon Siege: How to input cheat codes?

Hi gamers!

I looked everywhere and all the PC-version community sites that I found say that you just press [enter] (as to start a chat) and input the code. But in the mac this doesn't seem to work. Anyone have a hint on it?

I have already beaten the game in easy and normal levels. But now I want to make a map of the whole world by taking screen shots of the map screen and composing them in Photoshop. So here's the deal: I want a way to lift the fog of war so I don't have to walk all around every corner of the areas to reveal them. Also, the codes of the PC version seem to be pretty funny stuff. If they work on the Mac, I was willing to give it a try.

(And as a side note, I am totally against the use of cheating, trainers or other kind of hacking or cracking when in multiplaying. Just to hold back some flaming.....)

The "fog of war" can only be disabled in the single-player mode. If you want it disappear in a multi-player game, first run the single-player game, enter the cheat (+loefervision), quit and run the multi-player map.

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, it is exactly in single player mode that I want to make the map. However, even pressing [enter] or [return] doesn't make the chat dialogue box appear in single player mode. In fact, even in multiplayer, the dialogue box only appear if I press the chat button with the mouse, as pressing [enter] does nothing. In single player mode there's no chat button in the GUI.

Am I missing something? Or is it just me that cannot get the chat dialogue box?

The Chat Window setting in the hotkeys settings menu was blank! Setting it to enter (or whatever other key) solved the problem!

Thanks!
