duplex printing problems (brother laster)

Hello

I have a Brother 5170DN Laser printer that can duplex. When i print normaly everything is fine, but when i try to duplex print the status and paper lights turn red.

Under windows this works fine, under linux this used to work fine but now seems to need some tweaking.

Anyone have any ideas anychance?
