DVD not playing in iMac, created using.

DVD not playing in iMac after being created using iMovie and iDVD. Shows .vob files but does not play unless using VLC Media Player. Isn't there a way to just get the DVD to play in iMac's programs? Also will not play on our Mac Air.

Using Maxell -RW 2.4gb DVD, iMovie v8.0.1, iDVD v7.0.3, burning slow speed.

Have you tried DVD Player in the Applications folder?

To clarify #1 Rhapsody's point, iMovie is a video editor. iDVD is a DVD editor and burning application. DVD Player is the DVD player app.
