DVD-R Media

Does anyone know about other brands of DVD-R media that works in the SuperDrive and with DVD Studio Pro/iDVD?? Our office gets all of our supplied from Office Depot and they don't carry Apple's DVD-R media.

Here's what Office Depot Carries:
-Imation DVD-R item #221628
-Memorex DVD+R 5 Pack item #522982
-Memorex DVD-R 5 Pack item #523054
-Memorex DVD+R Video 10 Pack item #523108

Anyone know the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R? Also, why is one of them specified for video? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!
 
I *can* tell you that DVD+R is a slightly different format from DVD-R. However, I have also read that both can be used to create DVD-video discs that can be played in most set-top players.

Hence, I conclude that they are written differently, even though they may be read-interchangable.

I would definitely stick to DVD-R's for your superdrive.

And I have had good success using Fuji DVD-R's
