Help. I have a slide show (20-30 pictures) that is one of the menu items in DVD Studio Pro 3. For the slideshow, I used the default of 5 seconds per slide, and selected one of the transitions between slides for all slides. I then added music for the entire show (using Slideshow Editor), and selected the option to Fit to Slides, Loop option enabled (which leaves the slide duration at 5 seconds, and then ends the slideshow and music with the last slide).
Now, the problem. The simulation works great. But burning the DVD results in a screwed up slideshow. It starts fine (music and slides), but by the 3rd slide, the music stops (gaps) as two slides turn quickly (not 5 seconds) then the music resumes, and this repeats. It turns out very choppy.
I've tried converting the slideshow to a track, THEN adding the music. Same thing.
DVD Studio Pro just can't seem to encode the audio and the video, or I am doing something wrong. If I remove the audio, it works fine on the DVD. Adding the audio causes the "stutter" and disjointed show.
I had to go to iPhoto to create the slideshow with music and export to Quicktime to get a working version, but iPhoto doesn't have some of the page turns that DVD Studio Pro has.
So what am I doing wrong? Why does the simulation work great, but the actual burn is messed up? I have tried setting various audio options (fit to slides, fit to audio, loop, no loop) but nothing works. I've now burned 5 DVDs without success. I have tried with 3 different slide shows, all with the same result.
Your help would sure be appreciated.
