My computer is currently facing many problems. First, when I turn on the computer the screen is white and there is the apple symbol and the loading dial. I have already tried Command-S and typed in the fsky thing but it didn't work. Then I was told to try sticking the Mac Dvd into the computer hoping it would reboot. It didn't work and now when i press the eject button it won't eject. Help!!

The eject key has no effect at startup. The only way to force a disc to eject is to hold the mouse button after powering on. What about fsck -y didn't work exactly? When you inserted the Install DVD, did you hold C to tell your Mac to start from it? You have to be holding C before the Apple appears.
