Is it just me who really miss Apple's e-World community?!? When i used way back in time i thought that this community was so cool and so Mac'ish! I think it could be a success to reopen e-World as an internetportal just for Macusers only (i think) :D

Apple could call it iWorld this time!
 
I was never a member, but I think that they sold everything to AOL. So I doubt they could re-open it since AOL owns it.
 
I was actually an eWorld member... ah... the good ol' days. It was nice to have a very Mac-centric service, but it was a bit small. Oh well. I miss it. RIP AdamByte@eWorld.com

And, I don't remember Apple selling anything of eWorld to AOL... but I DO remember the fact that the AOL and eWorld software seemed so similar, especially in the layout of the buttons and such. It's like Apple just took the AOL 2.X software, and made every icon more Mac-ish. Rather than the AOL series of 20 buttons on the main screen, though, eWorld had less than 10 buildings.... it was like the AOL software, but friendlier.
 
Apple should bring that back. as iWorld of course. I was reading about it a Mac book I have. sounds cool.

IIRC, AOL worked with Apple on the eWorld client interface.
 
I remember when I first got my performa they gave me eWorld software and a free 9600 modem :D -- I never used it cause I did not know how to :rolleyes: I still remember the commercials :p

APple used to have infomercials back then ;)
Why would anyone want an AOL/MSN link portal? It's so passee!
