Probably it wasn't completely dry inside, so those few keys were messing up.
Wish I had gotten that lucky - I spilled Dr Pepper on one of my keyboards and fried it. I took it all apart and cleaned it out real well, let it all dry before putting it back together, but the damage had been done - none of the keys worked on it. (Though oddly enough, the system profiler still recognized it as a keyboard and the usb ports still worked)
Good thing there's a compUSA nearby that actually has Mac stuff in stock - I'd've been really pissed to have to wait for a keyboard to be shipped to me.
