eMac fan issue

I've got a G4 eMac with Superdrive. Recently, when the HD crashed, I had it replaced. Now, I find that the fan doesn't work and the system will overheat and freeze when it's been on more than an hour. I replaced the fan, thinking that was the issue, but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any experience or ideas in this matter?

I think it may actually be a connection between the fan and the power supply. She powers on fine and the video is perfect. It's just that the fan doesn't run when it's supposed to. I suspect the person who installed the new HD didn't reconnect everything when she put her back together.
