Email Hidden Archives

::sleepy:: I recently tried to save thousands of emails by moving them to an external drive but I may have hit archive instead of export. I now have lost more than 700 MGB on my computer and I can't find out where these archive emails are stored to delete them. This has created a serious situation on my I-Mac that has only 6 gig of hard drive space to begin with.I need help to find these files and delete them if possible.
 
I'm using Mail app. Version 10.3 Panther. My computer is ann old I-Mac G3 333mhz. I know it's old but until I tried to save those emails it has been working fine.There has to be some place they are stored and can be deleted. 600 Mb's don't just diaaspear.
