Email sig in Mail

Why is that when I reply or forward an email and try to attach my sig, it always puts it at the bottom of the whole thread? Instead of where my cursor is placed.

Is their a fix/solution?

Sigs always go at the end. By essence. But I agree sigs in Mail are not very smart.

cut and paste it from the end to the middle of the message if you feel more comfortable that way?

I wanna know to. My work sig shouldn't be at the bottom of the reply message. Sometime's there 12 messages attached and no one would ever see my sig!

Well, that's what I do know, but it's not the practical solution I was looking for.
