My Entourage email was prompting me to compact my database. I think I waited too long. When I try too compact it now (holding down option key while clicking on the Entourage icon) I select "advanced" and the box pops up, but I kept it running all night and nothing happened. Also, I can no longer open any Word or Excel docs. The applications look like they're opening, but no documents pop up and I can't even maneuver through any tabs, etc. Are these problems related? My word app is old, (2001).
