Entourage:mac 2004 Ver 11.1.0

I am currently using Mail 1.3.11 with a PC Exchange Server 2003. It works fine.

I am now trying to get Entourage:Mac 2004 ver 11.1.0 to work using the same configuration, but it does not connect to the Exchange Server. Any suggestions would be welcome.

First upgrade to 11.2.0 as that has a lot more exchange support in it. If you configure Entourage as an Exchange client it uses the webdav protocol to connect. If like me, you access the web via a proxy server you could try configuring the Mac to bypass the proxy for the exchange server using the fully qualified domain name. That fixed the connection problem I had been having.

Thanx for the info.

I have upgraded to ver 11.2.1. Setup an imap account and could send & receive mail but could not access the global address list. I then setup a second account (exchange). The exchange account connects to the ldap server without a problem. I have left it like that and it works fine.
