Entourage not connecting to Exchange

After installing the update (12.0.1) from file (not Auto Update) to our Office
for Mac "test" machine, Entourage no longer wants to connect to our
Exchange 2007 SP1 server. Keeps returning the "Mail cannot be
recieved at this time: Bad username/password" error. The account is
fine as the user can log into OWA with no problems. I have recreated
the profile once already to no avail. The only thing left (as far as
I can see) is to reinstall Office back to 12.0.0. Any other ideas? Running on OS X 10.4.1

Entourage 12.0.0 does not have fewer bugs than Entourage 12.0.1. I will assume that you did not change your Exchange account settings in the app. Unlike Outlook, Entourage cannot autodiscover Exchange servers. If your IT staff switched servers, then OWA and Outlook would behave as usual. However, Entourage would be lost in the woods. Check a working installation of Outlook on Windows to ensure that you have the proper settings in Entourage.
 
Thanks for your reply. Nothing has changed on either the client or the server. The only thing that changed on the users Mac is the Office update.
 
Because I work directly witht the Admin of that system. He was the first person that I went to with questions pertaining to this issue, and I am the first person he contacts when changes are made that effect the business.
