Entourage syncing with iCal and iPhone

Hello all,

I have a Macbook Pro running Leopard. I am running latest version of Entourage, 11.3.5 or so. I have been using Missing Sync successfully in order to sync 2 Palm based smartphones to the same calendar in Entourage. (I recommend Missing Sync for that very highly.)

I want to use an iPhone instead of a Treo. Apparently, with Leopard, I can sync Entourage's data with iCal. After checking all the appropriate boxes in .Mac and Entourage preferences, I imported into iCal all the Entourage data. It worked, and iCal has all the calendar data.

My problem is that when I change or add anything in Entourage and then Sync .Mac, none of the changes or additions are reflected in iCal. Since the iPhone works off the iCal data, it seems like the iPhone wouldn't reflect current data.

While it does seem to be a large number of steps to get data from Entourage to the iPhone, it is advertised as being available.

Has anyone synced Entourage with iCal successfully? And subsequently, successfully to iPhone? Missing Sync's iPhone syncing software only supports Notes and an extended log of SMS messages. They assume the basic syncing data is done with .Mac syncing services, which, as you can see from above, is NOT successful.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim
