Hello,
A neighbor of mine has the camera mentioned in the subject line. I could not find any mention of MacOSX support for this.

Anybody with any info?

I own this camera, and sent e-mail to Lexar when 10.0 was out asking when they thought the driver would be coming (their website said "few coming months").

That was a long time ago...

if you go to http://www.digitalfilm.com/support/faqs_macosx.html you'll see that not only have they not written a driver, they haven't updated their FAQ page for MacOS X in over 10 months.

On a good note, they camera is a good deal for the price, and the cards can be read in any USB card reader (most of which work plug n play style - no driver install needed - with X).

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I do not remember what type of card the camera used. Where is a good place to go for a MacOS X compatible reader?

My neighbor said something about USB enabled cards. Do you know exactly what that distinction means?

The camera uses compact flash cards.

The camera will read both the reguarl compact flash cards and the USB comapct flash cards.

Sadly, the camera has no port that a new mac can easily use, so you need an external card reader.

A USB reader will read only USB Compact Flash cards, not the other kind.

try macmall or even Apple.com to see exaplmes of card readers. They are typically sub $20 US
