am getting reeeeally tired of not having os x support for the eminent epson stylus 1160 printer, and have been looking around for a workaround. i found some references on how to do some hexing on the printer drivers using a driver for a similar model (like the stylus 1520 in this case), without any major loss in results (might not print at certain settings though...), so that's my option at the moment (either that, or i get an answer from epson tech support. yeah, riiight).
but i don't want to reinvent the proverbial wheel (as modest wheel as it is), and being new to os x i'm not willing to cause a meltdown on my bosses' machine.
so, in shorthand: anyone here got any experience faking drivers for unsupported printers on os x?
