Error 36 When Copying a CD

Hi there
I have a Mac Book that gives me an error when ever I try and copy a DVD to my hard drive or from my hard drive to a DVD. I used to be able to copy DVDs but recently I have begun to get the following error:

"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "Video_TS" could not be read and written. (Error Code - 36)"

Any ideas?

Can you please check how much available Hard Drive space you have as well as telling us the capacity of your internal Hard Drive, sharonb?

The easiest way to do this is to open any Finder window and look to the bottom of it where it will display the relevant details.
