error - 70001

I got a strange error message within the dvd player.

I am running a brand new g4 with a superdrive and just updated to os 10.2.2.
I have also updated the firmware of the super drive.

Now if I want to set the drive code to the region code, i got an error -70001

If anybody has a hint, i would be very thankfull

Just got the same error, running Mac OS X 10.2.6 on a Dual G4 MMD.

Last region change left. Very annoying. I've tried to reset prefs. but no luck so far. Did you figure it out?

no i couldent...
I brought it to an apple dealer and they only reinstalled the os.
So maybe you can try this as well. Still very annoying and time consuming.
