Error -9815

When trying to authorize my purchased songs on my laptop, I login using my apple account / password, but it gives me an error of -9815 and tells me to check my internet connection. Any help would be appreciated.

MAKE SURE your timezone is set to one of the US ones and that your clock works.

My clock was ridiculously out of date, Jan 1, 1970 8:00pm (not a US time)

I cant belive it looks for that.
