Everytime I try to download a dmg file it won't mount. Keep getting error message I am using a ibook4 power pc g4 max os 10.4.11
 
The brute-force method would be to reinstall 10.4. Put in your system disc, restart and hold down C until it starts booting from the disc. Then reinstall.

*Caution* One of the install options will erase all information, pictures, music, etc. on your hard drive. Read carefully.

Maybe someone can suggest an easier fix for this problem.
