Error trying to compile CUPS

I have Mac OS 10.1.5 and tried to compile the unix printer application CUPS ( http://developer.apple.com/darwin/projects/cups/ ) on darwin.

I get alway the following error:

Linking cupsd...
ld: Undefined symbols:
_freeifaddrs
_getifaddrs
make[1]: *** [cupsd] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 1

Can you help me maybe? What can I do?
