Hey,
I'm trying to have a cell where you can only fill in a word that is part of a list written somewhere else in the document. Sof far I can manage it.
The only problem is that the list is quiet long ( about 2000 words, and should grow). When you have to fill in the word in the cell with validation, the dropdown list appears to be ways to long to be practical to handle.
I was wondering if there is a way to shorten the list by typing caracters.
P.ex. When you type "D" you would only have the words starting with "D" showed. "De.." => words starting with "De".. etc.
I am working on MacBook (OS X 10.6) Excel2008.
Thanks,
Fred
