For anyone who uses Internet Explorer often enough (I use OmniWeb a lot of the time, but this still happened):
Go to this path:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/Explorer/
Do you see a file named "Download Cache" there? Is it unusually huge? Mine is... sorry... was 521.5 MB before I trashed it. This is weird for an additional reason -- the cache shouldn't be stored here! My cache is set to be placed in:
/Users/yourusername/Library/Caches/MS Internet Cache/
Anyone else having these funny symptoms? All I know is I'm glad to have half a gigabyte of space back.
P.S. It was a WAFF file. What the heck is that? And furthermore, it says it is in use, so I have to quit before I can erase it.
