Export iCal events from iPhone

Hi,
My home computer's hard drive has crashed, leaving the only place I have my calendar information on my iPhone. I would like to export all of my calendar events from my iPhone to be loaded into my new computer, but all the tutorials I've seen takes your calendar from Google and sends it to your phone. Is there a way to do it backwards, and send all of my calendar to Google from my phone?

If you download and install iTunes you can then tick all the right boxes and sync and get all the data into iCal on the new machine.

You will also have to change the syncing protocol to the new machine. When you do this it may ask you if you want to stop syncing with the old machine.

Once the data is in iCal, it's on you machine. I think you can then choose to export it. But I'm away from home this weekend and can't check.

Thanks for your reply SGould! Which boxes are 'all the right boxes', and won't syncing my iPhone with a new machine erase all information already on the phone and repopulate with new info from new machine??

I'm just terrified that everything will be deleted - I'd be completely screwed if my calendar went...
