I have an external DVD drive that connect with Firewire. I've connected it, and looked into System Profiler, under the "Disc burning" and "Firewire" tabs on the sidebar. Both show that the DVD drive is "Burn Supported" under Vendor Support. The problem is, when I load a DVD into the tray of the drive, it tries to read it for a moment, and then spits it back out. The disc isn't scratched, and the computer says that the drive is supported (it is a EZQUEST Boa DVD-ROM -R -RW drive, by the way). What is the problem here?
