I am toying with the idea of getting an external FW Superdrive to use with my Mac. However, one site I visited said that I would need at least an 800mhz processor for the unit I am considering. Since my mac is a DP450 mhz it appears that I would not be able to use the drive on this machine.
Has anyone used any of these drives with a mac that has a processor that is slower than 800mhz, and if so, what were the results? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
