external modem help

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

Simply, I am looking for an external modem that will work with older Mac G3 using OSX.
This is for use with AOL dial up service.

Need brand name and model.

Hello; Hard to point you in the right direction without knowing what version of x your running or what mac it's running on.If you plan to connect thru a usb port,you might want to check out apple's usb modem at the apple store and see if it will work with your setup.If you have a older beige g3 then you can use the modem port.You might want to check out the old Global Village platinum pro line.These are not made anymore but are still available on ebay.Finally check with aol and see if they have a list of supported modems.It might help to narrow down the search!
