I know this is obvious but searches on this site as well as GOogle doesn't bring up any results. Here is my question:

How do I determine what version of OSX I have on my iBook I bought in January 2006?

Thanks,

Jack

Click the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen. It will be blue, and it looks like an apple. Click "About This Mac" when the menu appears. You will see "Mac OS X", and then, on the next line, "Version 10.4.x". (If you bought your computer this year, you are running 10.4 Tiger. The next number is the complete version number. We are up to 10.4.7.)
