Fan that makes less noise ?

Where can I find a off market fan for a Mac G4 400mhz machine that is not as loud as the one it came with ?

If you've got an AGP machine, the fan shouldn't make any noise. It's most likely rather the hard disk drive. My G4 got a lot quieter when I replaced it with two new drives :)
If you'll get a new drive, I'll recommend Seagate. Silent and fast ;)
 
A cheaper solution is to buy an noise dampening enclosure, www.quietpc.com

All you'd need is an internal 5.25" drive bay (like for a CD-ROM drive) put your hard drive in the enclosure and mount the enclosure into the bay. I don't hear my PC hard drive anymore.

But if you don't have such a drive bay, forget what I said :)

Well, not all of us want to have our computer look like a cheap, poorly assembled piece of mass-produced plastic crap :confused:
