i thought i'd go ahead and start a basketball league since the beginning of the season is just a few weeks away. i'm going to invite folks from macfora as well. plenty of time to get a good league going. i'll set the draft as ready on the nite of oct 23. it's head to head competition, autodraft and free.

In order to join, just go to
http://basketball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/nba
click the Sign Up Now! button and choose to Join a Custom League. Then, when prompted, enter the following information...

League ID#: 35921
Password: walton

oh, you will need a yahoo id which is also free if you don't have one yet.

i should add that it's a head to head league with autodrafting. roster changes can be made daily. and remember - IT'S FREE!!
 
and now 2 more teams. we have the Sonics, Celtics, Zips, Royals and Team Psych.

i have it capped at 12 teams but am willing to expand that and reduce the number of roster spots if enough people are interested.

The Team To Beat: If its anything like your Football league ill get beat by 1 or 2 points every game, lol ;)
 
don't you just hat when that happens? or when you have your best scoring game of the year and the team you're playing against happens to be the only one with more points than you? arrgghh!! :D
 
i was winning by one after sunday, then alstott did nothing on monday for me, and Grammatica kicked a few EP's for the other team, ah well ill get 'em next week;)

btw is Kobe going to play or will he be in court
 
i don't know. i'm not sure if anybody knows the real answer to that. i'm not taking any chances and wasting a high draft pick on him so i put him on my exclude list for the draft rankings.
 
it's sounding more and more like kobe may be doing jail time instead.

still just 6 players. looking for 4 more. i'll be listing this as a custom league that any mac user can join at yahoo if we don't fill up soon. the BB season is creeping up on us and it's time to get this moving. :)
 
bump and repeat of my last post.

basically if we don't have a full league by weds. morning, i'm going to let any mac users on yahoo join. which has worked out ok with the fantasy hockey league so far.
 
bump - because arden has this annoying habit of coming on right after i post and pushing these bumps off the first page of new posts by adding useless replys to every other active post on the site. :rolleyes:
 
ok, i've listed it in the public custom leagues at yahoo. people from here can still join by following the link in the first post of this thread. i'll make us draft ready 24 hours after we get the 10th team. so hurry and join if you want to play with us!! :)
