This seems to be one of the top issues with everyone. I know that I have been searching the web for how to print to an HP LaserJet 4P connected to a printserver. (Yes, I know that it is not postscript).
Well, it turns out that one Jim Derry of Balthisar Software www.balthisar.com has the document homepage.mac.com/balthisar/HPNetworkInkjet.sit we all want.
I have been able to now get great output from OS X on my HP LaserJet 4P which is connected to my LAN by a LinkSys 3-Port Printserver (model # EPSX3).
Total cost of $149 and 5 long nights (4.5 searching + .5 implementing).
Do not let the "complexity" of the FAQ scare anyone off. It is a well document 15 pages of how to do what and why you are doing it. BTW, am running the latest OS X update as of 2-20-02.
