fast user switching and mouse speed

i have a problem with my mouse speed when i relog in my account after using fast user switching

the mouse is slow and if i change the speed in preferences, it seems that all the possible speeds are slow down

sorry if i dont explain in a better way

example: i have my mouse set to medium speed (exactly in the center of the scrollbar), i switch to login window and then i relog to my account, now the speed is slow even if the scrollbar is in the same place, if i move it the speed obviously changes, but relatively to the new speed

it seems to happen only with logitech control center driver and mouse logitech mx700

any help?

Is the control center installed and set for both users?

i have only a user in this mac
it happens when i switch to login window (for example to lock the mac) and the relog in the same account

Hmm, that's odd. You have the latest version of the control center? How's the batteryl life? I have a Logitech Trackman (2 actually, one's at work).

Does the mouse work without the logitech software installed? If so, I'd suggest using it without it.

I have the same mouse with Logitech Control installed and don't have this problem.

yes, the latest one (1.3.0). the battery is always full.

Does the mouse work without the logitech software installed? If so, I'd suggest using it without it.

yes it works, but i need the software in order to use all the 9 buttons =)

the problem is always here
anyway the mouse slows down only after i relog, not when i log out
