as for the GSM sound, the way GSM works, when the phone is REALLY searching for a signal, or if a call is incoming, or an incoming SMS, you hear a distrotion like "ta-ra-ta-ta-ta-ta" (you have to kear it to know what it sounds like), if you have the phone close to speakers
