Giaguara Chmod 760 Staff member Mod Aug 21, 2003 #2 You do need software to send and receive fax, at least in the 10.2 and previous. But there are plenty of fax softwares out there: HylaFAX 4.1.2 (freeware) FaxCenter 1.2.1 build 6 FaxExpress Network 6.5 FAXstf X 10.1.4 (this has been bundled to many macs, e.g. iBooks) Page Sender 3.0.1 And there are some more here Welcome on boards!

Arden Where mah "any" keys at? Aug 21, 2003 #3 With Panther, you will be able to push a button in the Print dialog to send a page as a fax. I'm not sure how this works with Jaguar (natively at least).

bobw The Late: SuperMacMod Aug 21, 2003 #4 If you're on Cable/DSL/Satellite, you won't be able to fax. You'll need to be on Dial-up.
