I'm using 10.6.1. I'm noticing that in Finder list views, if I modify a file or directory, the info about this item (modification date, etc.) doesn't get updated in the Finder unless I close the enclosing folder in the Finder and re-open it (by clicking on the arrow next to the enclosing folder twice).
I seem to recall that this info would update in real time under 10.5.x, although perhaps I'm mistaken.
In any case, is there a setting that will cause the Finder to update the modification date and other info in a list view in real time when an item in that view is modified? I couldn't find anything in the Finder preferences that relates to this behavior.
