Hi,
I'm a newbie.
Years ago I wrote some in dBaseIV, in dos, and I remember it had the ability to store lots of little scripts in a separate file.
A button might DO GetTodaysDate, and that script would be in a separate file. Any where in the program that I wanted a button to do this, I could refer to the same script.
I'm now trying to use filemaker pro (on mac) and it seems that the scripts must be imbedded in the active layout.
A button must perform a script, and that script must be imbedded in the layout page.
In FPro, can I use a separate file of scripts that I can refer to?
Thanks
