I have downloaded some files from the net in Virtual PC 6 (with Windows XP Home), and now i want those files to be used in Mac OS X (10.2.4). What's the best way to do this?

Thanks! ;)

Turn on automatic drive mapping (or something like that - not at my mac at the moment..) in Virtual PC and next time you boot up XP, you'll get your OSX drives available in explorer. Copy or move the files to the OSX drive you want them on.

I think you can create shared folders in VPC. Also, if you install the Additions you should be able to drag-n-drop between the two (could be wrong on this one though). To install the additions click on the little extension looking icon on the bottom of your VPC window and choose "Install Addtitions" (or something to that effect).

I could have sworn the Additions allowed drag-n-drop between VPC OS and host OS.

Ok, i select: "Share Hard Drive, Network Drives and something else..." and the Macintosh HD showed up in XP, so problem solved!

I havent tried the drag-n-drop thing, i'll do it later :)

all you have to do is drag the file(s) out of the WinXP window onto the Mac OS desktop or drive. It should be that easy, considering I do it on a daily basis this has allways worked for me. If you installed WinXP yourself then you need to install VPC Additions in WinXP by clicking the little plug-in looking thing at the bottom of the WinXP window and select install additions. After a restart of XP you should now beable to move your coursor in between XP and OS X. If you can already do this then you probably have the VPC Additions installed already.
