Final Cut Pro Pixellates Red

I've been trying to watermark some QuickTime movies for my site, yet I can't seem to fix the problem of red being pixellated upon export.

In Final Cut Pro it looks perfect, but when I export just the red watermark (and large blocks of red text part of the movie) get a pixellated look.

Below is an example comparing the Final Cut version and the exported version:

Is there any way to fix this?

Do you, by any chance, have your graphics card overclocked? This problem happens in Quicktime when your card is running faster than it should.

It seems that the video card in my iMac G4 has never liked reds. I haven't done any overclocking; do you think it could be my computer?

If your computer just "doesn't like reds", this problem is beyond me. Your machine is fairly old, so maybe this is a problem addressed elsewhere.
