Finder is mounting, instead of browsing shares.

I recently reinstalled Panther and when I go to Network I see the Linux server in my network, but when I connect to this server it displays the share select prompt and subsequently creates a new mount for the share instead of letting me browse it under the Network tree.

This didn't happen before I reinstalled Panther and I have all the available updates. Is there something I need to change to be able to browse the network entirely under the Finder Network tree?

Thanks,

Vincent
