finder keeps relaunching!!! help

hello mac uses
yea every time i save somthing my desktop/finder has to relunch.
does any one know whats up with it
i might of copyed my desktop on to my home folder 'there is a desktop icon there', maybe thats somthing to do with it
since i've had this problem i cant save things on to disks and my memory stick

Well, usualy their is a desktop icon in your home folder, so thats normal. You might want to try to create a new user on your computer, then it has all the default preferences, so it should work.
